About Me *

Erin Nagamine is a multidisciplinary artist, tattooer and doodler of all things. Her work moves between skin, paper canvas and wood. A mix of tradition, storytelling and play. Whether its, tattooing, painting or drawing, her work always circles back to the same ideas: connection, the humor of everyday, and the gravity of life it self. Oh and of course, her two naked cats.

Tattoo work

Erin has been tattooing for 10 years and currently works out of Chopstick Tattoo in Honolulu Hawai’i. Beyond machine tattooing, she is also part of a revival group focused on Hajichi, the traditional hand-poke tattooing of the Ryukyu Islands. This work is reserved for folx of Okinawan heritage, and is honored to help carry this tradition forward.
