Erin Nagamine is an artist and tattooer based in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. Her work moves between tattooing, painting, illustration, and public art, often mixing humor, symbolism, and personal storytelling.

Her practice is shaped by the layered relationships between Hawai‘i, Okinawa/Ryūkyū, the Philippines, and the wider Pacific. Through recurring images, characters, and symbols, she explores connection, memory, identity, and the way stories live in both the body and the places we come from.

In 2026, Nagamine participated in an artist residency in Taitung, Taiwan, for the Pan-Pacific Triennial, an experience that deepened her interest in migration, ancestry, cultural memory, and Pacific connection. Her exhibition SHIMA, part 1 at Aupuni Space also marked an important point in her practice, bringing together personal mythology, island memory, and the emotional pull of place.
